I would like to acknowledge the palawa people of lutruwita whose land this project has been created on, as well as all Indigenous people of Australia. I am presenting two Australian circumstances where people have been denied their human rights, to demonstrate the causes and consequences of protests. Using timelines, videos and writing I explain how gay and Aboriginal people have had their rights taken away and how protest has played a vital role in making change.
